1.0 HIGHLIGHT OF NBA ANNUAL GENERAL CONFRENCE

“The largest gathering of lawyers………anywhere in the world”

Over 7000 lawyers will be in attendance – this makes it the single largest gathering of lawyers anywhere in the world. Over, 5000 service providers and ordinary participants from within and outside Nigeria. There will be High profile speakers and experts from Nigeria and abroad. It will involve presentations from syndicated workshops, Focus Group Discussions, Roundtables and other intellectually stimulating event for wide audience and various Social, cultural, sporting, excursion, and tours and other events. There will be Exclusive Dinners and an Award Ceremony.

1. 2 FOCUS ON SPECIAL WORKING SESSION: THE SPIDEL FORUM

SECTION ON PUBLIC INTEREST AND DEVELOPMENT LAW (SPIDEL) is a specialized section of NBA with mandate to sensitize, formulate, disseminate information, and carry out advocacy and training on public interest and development law issues.

THE SPIDEL FORUM @ NBA Annual General Conference 2007 proposes to bring together key stakeholders, experts and role players in a broad, critical, analytical and strategic forum to discuss topical issues on law and development as well as source comprehensive opinions and input that will reinforce required policy and institutional approach to support oriented economic reforms, public interest lawyering and development as international best practices.
