Over 7000 lawyers will be in attendance – this makes it the single largest gathering of lawyers anywhere in the world. SECTION ON PUBLIC INTEREST AND DEVELOPMENT LAW (SPIDEL) is a specialized section of NBA with mandate to sensitize, formulate, disseminate information, and carry out advocacy and training on public interest and development law issues.

THE SPIDEL FORUM @ NBA Annual General Conference 2007 proposes to bring together key stakeholders, experts and role players in a broad, critical, analytical and strategic forum to discuss topical issues on law and development as well as source comprehensive opinions and input that will reinforce required policy and institutional approach to support oriented economic reforms, public interest lawyering and development as international best practices.
